NOTE: Buyers are relevant to online merchants only.
Wpay considers a buyer as a customer of a merchant - the individual to whom the merchant provides goods or services.
Buyers detail
There are several ways in which you can see a buyer's details. You can find buyer information in the following places:
1. Payments listing page.
2. Payments detail page.
3. Buyers section (in the left hand navigation pane).
Buyers search
When you perform a search, the results are sorted by created date by default, with the latest buyer shown at the top. The Buyers search page allows users to search for buyers using the following search filters:
Buyer search filters
The buyer search filter and search results displays matching buyer records with following fields:

| Buyer ID | The unique ID provided for the buyer (typically generated by the payment platform). |
| Buyer name | The descriptive name assigned to this customer by the merchant. |
| Email address | The email address of the customer. |
| Billing First Name | Customer's formal first name provided when setting up their billing information. |
| Billing Last Name | Customer's formal last name provided when setting up their billing information. |
| Merchant name | This field is only relevant to a portfolio or account group merchant. It indicates a specific sub-merchant or account group. |
| Buyer external identifier | The unique identifier assigned to the online buyer in the merchant's ecommerce platform (i.e., the ID used by the merchant's system). |
Buyer details
In the Buyers details page, you can find the following information that relates to a specific buyer.

| Shipping addresses | First name | The first name of the buyer at the shipping address. |

Buyers listing count
The buyers count is now consistent with the Transactions listing page. If there are more than 100,000 buyers, the total count would show "100,000+".
PII Privacy Control
To protect customer data privacy on Connect Portal, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on the Buyer search and Buyer details screens is masked by default.
If you require access to the sensitive PII data (such as buyer name, email, phone number, address), please contact your Technical Admin to obtain Personal Information Access Organisation Unit (OU) assigned to your user account.
