Purpose
To know how to locate the configuration value of a parameter on a PaySuite terminal.
Introduction
The ‘configuration value of a parameter’ is used to control and define the behaviour and settings of a program or system. Its purpose is to make software flexible and adaptable. It allows users or administrators to customise how a terminal runs without changing the underlying code.
For example, a configuration value could specify:
- the timeout for a network connection.
- the log level.
- the path to a resource file.
